Howard Guidry started his own pool company in Louisiana over 20 years ago. He then was asked to start up manufacturing in San Antonio, TX for the first Leisure Pools facility in the United States. He held the position of Vice President for 13 years until the manufacturing facility moved to Knoxville, TN. Howard is happy to call Central Texas home for the last 16 years and to have been given the opportunity to start the first Leisure Pool franchise at the Central Texas stockyard in New Braunfels.

His daughter, Alex Guidry, was first introduced to pools in Louisiana and has been around them her whole life. Being on the job site at a young age, watching and learning, has allowed her to become a natural with swimming pools. This paired with a Bachelors in Business Management from UTSA made her perfect for the position of Office Manager for Backyard Vacation Oasis.
